ICC collaborates with Hebrew University's MCCR Director, Dr. Yossi Tam, to advance cannabis innovation
The International Cannabis Company (ICC) is a cannabis consulting and product development startup with offices in Netanya, Israel, and Boca Raton, Florida. ICC specializes in guiding cannabis businesses through Israel's complex regulatory landscape, including policy navigation, licensing procedures, and compliance support. In addition to its consulting services, ICC is actively developing proprietary terpene formulations and has plans to launch its own line of cannabis flower products and cultivation facilities. Founded in 2023, ICC is driven by a mission to help position Israel as a global leader and benchmark in the cannabis industry.
In September 2024, ICC officially launched its website and social media platforms, marking a key step in establishing a global media presence. Behind the scenes, Co-Founder and Head of Business Development Steven Langert is working to oversee corporate structure, while the company's team of industry experts is being assembled by Co-Founder and Director of Research and Development Akiva Lazar.
ICC operates across three core pillars: global cannabis education, proprietary product development, and regulatory consulting. In May 2025, ICC officially commenced its engagement with Dr. Yossi Tam, Director of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem's Multidisciplinary Center for Cannabinoid Research (MCCR). This alliance aims to identify and pursue new business opportunities that will advance the global cannabis industry.
